Pawilon

Pawilon is a place of an autonomous character, a place of exchanging ideas, stimulating ideas and activity. It is understood as a platform for city organizations, combining urban energies and development intentions. The building's operator is the Arsenał Municipal Gallery, programme partners are representatives of Poznan's communities such as the Intermedia Foundation, Korporacja Teatralna, LAS and Andrzej Pakuła, the curator. We define Pawilon as a place for performative acts - a place of workshops, meetings, film screenings, installations. In this sense it is an autonomous unit of the municipal contemporary art gallery functioning as a space for activities outside of the exhibition's framework.
