At Paws ‘n’ Rec, our mission is to be the premier provider of pet adventures for urban-living humans. Our membership-based program — the first of its kind — delivers fun, affordable, and enriching adventures, and safe and secure hoteling, for furry family members of humans living in major US cities. Our team has worked together to build a unique concept that focuses on leveraging our own proprietary technologies to both streamline business operations and enhance the end user experience. The combination of these platforms and the committed efforts of our diverse and specialized staff allow us to deliver truly unique experiences for our clients – both human and fur-members. Many urbanites find it hard to provide their furry family members with the level of stimulation and activity that dogs in the suburbs are accustomed to. When our pups don’t get the physical, mental and social stimulation they need and deserve, our best friends can quickly become enemies. From chewing, digging and the good ol’ “what’s that smell”, to compulsive barking and outright disobedience, scenarios like these are far too common amongst city-dwelling pet owners. That’s why we set out to establish a fresh approach to modern pet care – Paws ‘n’ Rec: an unconventional dog playcare, enrichment, and overnight hoteling.
