Pawsome Enthusiasts

By way of introduction we are an Association for protection of stray animals and environmental care - Pawsome Enthusiasts Skopje. Our daily activities including trying hard to find homes for the dogs and cats that have come into our care as a result of being abandoned on the streets or badly abused. All the rescues live in paid kennels, where they are properly socialized and get plenty of human interaction, after which are rehomed in lovely homes. Beside taking care for the animals, our everyday activities include lobbying for change in the animal protection laws and humane treatment, as well as organizing events for raising awareness. Our long term goal is to educate the people of our country for the importance of humane treatment of animals and reduce the number of stray dogs to a minimum. Besides taking care of the welfare of animals, we strive to change the public perception on dogs and cats into being accepted as a part of our society. Our mission is to improve the overall general situation regarding stray animals in N. Macedonia. As an animal and environmental association, our mission beside saving the stray animals, is as well to raise awareness of the natural ecosystem and habitat.
