Paxar Technologies came into being 25 years ago, in December 1991. We have been distributing and training Vectorworks (originally called MiniCAD) all across Canada ever since. Our clients include large and small firms, many different kinds of individual designers, educational institutions, and students. We are delighted to have known a number of MiniCAD and Vectorworks users for the majority of the time we have been in business, and many of our clients have become valuable friends over the years. Our Moral Compass As anyone who has been in business for any length of time will attest, there will come a day when you are faced with a moral dilemma. The quandary could be a client who pays a bill twice, or a customer who really is relying on your advice and will do whatever you say, or even someone trying to purchase something more than they require. Whatever it is, there are often choices to be made that require having a very clear idea of what is right and true — and what is best for all concerned. From the very beginning, we realized that Paxar needed to have an impeccable moral compass, so that the ‘awkward’ decisions about what is ‘right’ were never difficult to make. We carefully explored issues such as morality, honesty, and integrity, and came up with a clear plan to ensure that we knew how we wanted our company to behave. Integrity and Karma At Paxar, we believe that what goes around comes around — and when we make the right decision every time, we are keeping ourselves on the brighter side of life. We sleep easily at night when we consider the choices we make and the advice we give in our business every day. The advice provided to our clients is in their best interest.
