PayDay Takaful (PDT) is a next generation Fintech Platform connecting Insurers, Banks and Employers (SMEs, Corporate and government entities), to empower low and medium-income workers with financial solutions, thus, helping them increase productivity and improve their financial stability through a fully digital solution. PDT improves the financial wellbeing of salaried staff by giving them the protection they need against unforeseen circumstances before the pay day without any impact on the Employer’s pay cycle or cash flow. The workers subscribe to a package of micro-insurance (Takaful) cover coupled with access to an interest-free loan secured by the worker salary. The packages are tailored to meet the workers basic needs in case of a need for urgent cash before their pay day. The loan is provided to everyone with no credit check, allowing them to avoid expensive borrowing/overdraft fees. All this done in a fully digital way.
