What is PeakSmart PeakSmart is a training organisation focusing on competitive target shooting with rifle and pistol. PeakSmart is headed up by Andrew Nimmo, an ISSF ‘C’ Licensed Coach, NSRA Regional Coach and currently coaches within the British Shooting Performance Pathway with the Talent Academy. Our services cover coaching and developing shooters, coach education in the rifle and pistol disciplines and delivering training in the outdoor activity sector for air rifle shooting. Coaching For beginners and beyond, we can find a level that will help you improve your shooting. One to one, or a group of like minded shooters, we have programmes that will bring out the best in you. Coach Education As an NSRA Regional Coach, Andrew is fully qualified to deliver the NSRA training scheme for those who aspire to follow the coaching route. The scheme covers the basics of range safety all the way through to advanced coaching of individuals and squads. Each level of course delivered by someone who has followed your journey and can help you find your way amongst the pitfalls of real coaching. Outdoor Education/Activity Centres The basic qualification for youth groups and activity staff to run air rifle shooting as an activity is the NSRA Youth Proficiency Scheme Tutors course. We are geared up to run this course for individuals or groups. You may wish to join up with a course already running, or with sufficient numbers to train, get us in to organise a course specifically for you.
