PEARL is dedicated to forging brighter futures for single-parent families, recognizing their unmatched courage and resilience. Our mission is to instill hope and provide vital skills, ensuring both economic and emotional stability in every household we touch. We have carefully crafted four comprehensive programs to address the diverse needs of these families: Transportation Program: Recognizing that reliable transportation is a cornerstone of independence, PEARL offers monthly Car Care Clinics from September to June. These clinics provide free oil changes and safety inspections. For more significant needs, we also extend assistance for larger repairs. Focus Pearls: This exclusive program is for a select group of single parents who we guide closely on their path to self-reliance. Benefits include monthly stipends, educational and job training support, financial counseling, monthly workshops, parenting classes, and priority access to all our programs. Spiritual reflection and prayer are also available upon request. Pearl Kids: Catering to the children of our enrolled parents, this program focuses on holistic family support. From mentoring and tutoring to scholarships and holiday gift assistance, we strive to address each child's unique needs. G.E.M.S.(General Emergency Monetary Support) Program: For single parents facing immediate financial crises, our G.E.M.S. program provides assistance for essentials like rent, utilities, and groceries. Assistance is either provided directly or via grocery store gift cards.
