Designing, building and repairing of guitar effects and amplifiers. The company is ran by two seasoned guitar players who build and fine tune guitar effects and amps right here in the good ol' U.S.A. Certainly anybody with a soldering gun can build a guitar effect but without the ears and knowledge of gear you end up with sterile sounding garbage. Proof of this can be seen in the many guitar effects now made using cell phone parts. My close to 40 years of playing tells me these tiny parts = tiny sound and just don't got it in the tone department. One exception to the rule may be in the form of a guitar tuner and maybe even a chorus pedal. All you have to do sk youself a few questions to bear this out as being true. One is the resale value, or lack there of, and two is the collectability of the unit. The only reason to use cell phone sized parts is that it's cheap to produce but that's not where we are coming from here at PedalworX. It's got to have tone and be road worthy and cell phone parts just don't cut it on the road.
