Pen & Anvil is a not-for-profit literary publishing press based in Boston. We publish a catalogue of books, journals, chapbooks, posters, and broadsides. We are always interested in working with authors from far afield, especially with persons representing literary or cultural traditions which are under-represented in the English-language market. We feel successful when we've promoted a new author, re-published an out-of-print book, brought a work into English translation, or provided an author with a legitimate platform for his or her work.
