Hi! We’re Marc & Charles, two entrepreneurs from France and here is our story. In late 2021, fate brought together Charles, a web marketer who had been sharing the best travel tips through his newsletter, and Marc, a developer with a knack for creating successful startups. One day, as they were cracking jokes over a pint of beer a cup of coffee, Charles exclaimed, “What if we combined our skills to create an app studio with Shopify? We could even call it ‘The Appstronauts’!” Marc burst into laughter. This name was not picked. The Shopify App Studio rapidly gained a reputation for its quirky, engaging apps that helped online retailers trying to be a bit different through a perfect UI and animals to stand out in the branding. Charles and Marc became well-known as the fun-loving founders who brought humor and innovation to the eCommerce world, ensuring that their users were always smiling while their businesses thrived. And as for their friendship, it continued to grow stronger, as they continued to share their passion, expertise, and a love for bad programming puns.
