The Peninsula Respiratory Group is a referral based private practice that specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory and sleep disorders and related conditions. Our group consists of Dr Keith Burgess, Dr Stanley Braude, Dr Linda Seeto, Dr Betty Chen and Dr Jian Eu Tai. Peninsula Respiratory Group is situated in Frenchs Forest and services the area of Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Peninsula Pulmonary Function Laboratory is an intrinsic part of the Peninsula Respiratory Group supporting the Respiratory Physicians in their patient’s treatment and diagnosis. The Laboratory provides an extensive array of ambulatory respiratory testing within a private setting to assist the diagnosis of Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD - emphysema, bronchitis), Pulmonary Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis among others. The respiratory tests performed in the Laboratory are: Spirometry (pre- and post-bronchodilator) Gas Transfer (TLCO) Static Lung volumes Exhaled Nitric Oxide Inhaled Bronchial Challenge testing with histamine, saline and Mannitol High Altitude Simulation Test (HAST) Skin Prick Test Airway Resistance and Conductance Respiratory Muscle Strength (MIP/MEP and SNIP) 6 Minute Walk Test Overnight Home Oximetry Arterial Blood Gases Arterialised Capillary Blood Gases Shunt study The Laboratory has been accredited for over 20 years to assure the highest level of patient testing and care. Peninsula Respiratory Group works closely with the co-located Peninsula Sleep Clinic to support any sleep related disorders. Peninsula Sleep Clinic has been accredited since 2001 and conducts diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies in a private hospital and ambulatory setting. The CPAP Clinic is nestled within Peninsula Sleep Clinic and provides clinical advice, trials and education about CPAP. The highly skilled team strives to the highest patient care, data collection and analysis.
