Pennies For Pointe

The mission of Pennies for Pointe is to increase the participation of underrepresented populations in dance. We are committed to aiding in the training of young dancers, who come from lower-income and underrepresented communities, by providing necessary resources in order for them to train safely and properly. In addition to alleviating the financial burden to some, we hope to expose more children in underprivileged communities to the art form. “Tapping into the arts offers a pathway for students to access their deepest and most authentic selves and provides them with a creative outlet for expression and reflection.” -Jennifer Oliver
