Pepper Potts was established in 2017 when its co-founders recognized the necessity for a proudly South African Enterprise Information Management System. Their goal was to create a system that could directly compete with the traditional large ERP systems existing in the market and surpass them in terms of functionality, ease of implementation, price, and overall quality. Co-founder Daren Mudaly and his team identified a crucial aspect of historical enterprise and business architecture—it was constructed around an organization’s ERP system. Legacy ERP systems, initially tailored for finance and manufacturing, presented challenges when implementing essential components such as Human Capital Management (HCM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Record management. This necessity for additional systems had a cascading impact on factors like integration, adoption, data quality, and overall system performance. Following 12+ years of research and development, Pepper Potts developed Eco X, which is an Enterprise Information Management (EIM) platform and process optimisation framework with over 100+ integrated modules used for Digital Transformation. Eco X sets itself apart with its aggregated ecosystem approach to Digital Transformation, establishing a singular source of truth that seamlessly communicates with existing systems. Its key differentiator lies in being an integrated platform for new business processes. This holistic approach guarantees coherence, efficiency, and adaptability, positioning Eco X as a comprehensive solution for organizations aiming for a unified and streamlined digital landscape. Today, Pepper Potts is recognized as a proudly South African Innovation Lab and the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Eco X.
