About Peppy A jewelry brand owned by Mel Jordan, Peppy was born as a pilot project, at the end of her Masters in Jewellery Design at Central St Martins, in London. It soon caught the attention of the local media. The return to Brazil, in 2021, marked the official launch of the label, with its fun and transformable jewellery. Graduated in Fashion and later in Goldsmithing, Mel has been working with jewelry since 2014, but it was in 2019 that she found her style. Irreverent, her creations translate the joy of Rio with an insouciant Brazilian glamour. Her inspirations come from art, raw materials, colors and nature. A touch of Schiaparelli here, sparks of Lygia Clark there, natural stones and an authentic design are the recipe for these one-of-a-kind pieces that take on new life with each use, almost like a four-handed creation between Mel and whoever use the pieces. With Peppy, the concept of “freedom of expression” has been updated.
