Pepr Bioproductions B-Best
The Bioproductions (B-BEST) Priority Research Program and Equipment (PEPR): Biomass, biotechnologies, and sustainable technologies for chemistry and fuels is jointly led by INRAE and IFPEN. The Bioproductions program aims to support fundamental research, including research at a low level of technological maturity, with the goal of developing innovations that promote the development of an efficient, relevant, and competitive French industrial base in the fields of bio-based products and sustainable fuels. This research program is part of the France 2030 plan's national acceleration strategy “Bio-based products and industrial biotechnologies - Sustainable fuels.” Launched in 2023, it has a budget of €70 million over a period of seven years.
