PERFOMETER is an Agribusiness Advisory and Consulting Company that specializes is Dairy Investments. We are based in Nairobi but with a regional (EA) reach. We are a team of consultants offering services to Dairy investors as well as development projects. Our skill sets include Economics, Husbandry, Fodder Agronomy, Herd Management, Cow Barn Architecture and Customer Care. Our product offering includes: Dairy Business Plans, Dairy Farm Benchmarking, Cow Barn Construction, Academy of Dairy Managers, and Investors. Perfometer works with various other stakeholders in the Dairy sector, to convene the Dairy Investors Forum and to publish the Dairy World Magazine. Perfometer has been in operation since February 2013. Co-created CashCow Fodder initiative and currently leading implementation Reached over smallholder farmers through 22 cooperatives mainly in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Trained and supported youth-led dairy extension enterprises in 14 cooperatives in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania through on-farm programs. Develop the CowPro herd management and fodder sourcing app. Conducted Gap analysis (and supported improvement) in 45 commercial farms, through Perfometer’s Dairy Farm Benchmarking (DFB) Tool. Designed model cow barns for 38 dairy investors, constructed 4 of these. Developed Dairy Master Plans in 15 start-up dairy farms Reached 205 dairy farmers of 100 litres daily – in 14 counties in Kenya Hosted 19 incoming Expert missions from the Netherlands Participated in 4 outgoing missions to Netherlands for Perfometer Advisors Organized outgoing missions to the Netherlands for Kenyan Dairy Investors Successfully held 3 sessions of Academy of Dairy Investors in Nairobi Coached Dairy Managers in 45 medium-scale farms in Kenya on their farms Worked with six reputable companies from the Dutch Private Sector: Reviewed 2 European-published Dairy books for the East African Market Developed the Dairywise handbook for farmers
