PerformanSea is an independent engineering consultancy primarily involved with the discipline of marine engineering system simulation. System simulation is a method that uses computer simulations to imitate the behaviour of engineering systems. It is very effective when product recalls want to be minimized and customer satisfaction on product performance maximized. Besides being used in product development, system simulation proves to be an effective tool to troubleshoot technical systems and to identify hazards. PerformanSea uses system simulation techniques that can be utilized already in the earliest development stages. Even if all there was is just a consept, as no 3D models are required. Simulation models are acausal and parametric which means that they are highly reuseable without changing code. We are capable of simulating systems in various domains, including multi-domain systems: mechanical, hydraulic, electric, electronic, thermal and pneumatic systems, before physical prototypes become available.
