Pertamina Internasional Ep

PT Pertamina Internasional EP was established due to the need for international assets management of PT Pertamina (Persero). For such purpose, it is deemed necessary to establish a subsidiary with an international scope as the overseas assets holder whose activities can be tailored to the characteristics of owned assets. Therefore, on November 18th, 2013, PT Pertamina Internasional EP was established in Jakarta as a company engaged in the field of oil, natural gas and other energy, with overseas work areas. On July 1st, 2016, one of subsidiaries of PT Pertamina Internasional EP namely PT Pertamina Algeria Eksplorasi Produksi conducted an acquisition of assets owned by ConocoPhillips Algeria as stipulated in the Share Purchase Agreement dated September 26th, 2016. On August 2016, PT Pertamina Internasional EP completed the acquisition process stages for 24.53% shares of Maurel et Prom, S.A. in France, which has assets in nine countries, namely Canada, Colombia, France, Gabon, Italy, Myanmar, Namibia, Nigeria and Tanzania. Currently, PT Pertamina International EP has assets with a total of twelve, which previously had three assets in Algeria, Iraq and Malaysia.
