Pescaturismo

Pescaturismo is a technological company that facilitates, through an international web platform, that traditional fishermen can make tourist excursions on professional fishing boats to live an exclusive experience. Pescaturismo, in collaboration with the fishermen's guilds, manages more than half a hundred embarkations in about thirty ports of Majorca, Menorca, Catalonia, Canary Islands, Galicia, Community Valencian and Murcia, which will be expanding in the next months because numerous guilds of Spain have shown their interest in joining this project, attracted by the new management and marketing model devised by Pescaturismo. Pescaturismo is an international multiplatform with own domains in four languages (Spanish, English, German and Catalan). After two years of its creation, Pescaturismo has turned to a national and international referent with a very wide presence on the social media because it has own channels on Facebook, Youtube, Vimeo, Twitter, Instagram, Blogger, Linkedin and G+. From Pescaturismo we bet that the benefits of tourism go directly to the local community (fishermen and guilds) and mass tourism for a sustainable model, which aims to ensure that tourists have a real immersion in the culture, gastronomy and traditions of the sea world, in order to make everyone aware of the need to transmit this legacy to future generations, as well as to protect the marine environment. This work philosophy has been awarded by the Responsible Tourism's prize of the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) for the best product and international tourist service. Also, in that same year (2018), the Balearic Government prized Pescaturismo for the best experience. Besides, Pescaturismo got a Eureka's prize for the best corporate project and entrepreneurial initiative.
