Petal Cloud Studio

Petal Cloud Studio is a Textile Design Studio specialising in printed textiles. We create original fabric designs and cushions for residential and commercial interiors. We create hand-crafted fabric responses from original paintings, drawings, and colour findings. Working from flowers and nature, the studio explores the vibrancy and playful ways nature creates shape and space. We take a process of abstracting these natural forms through mark making and painterly expressions to create spirited and lively designs for textiles. With inspiration from Traditional Eastern art and Primitivism, these bold prints hold a story of pattern, art and colour. Colour is an important aspect in the studio and each palette is carefully considered. We work with experts trained in colour science enabling us to achieve the perfect colour reach. Our designs are printed to order and are digitally printed with water-based dyes that are friendly to the environment. The studio is available for bespoke commissions and collaborations.
