Established in December 2010, the Firm is focused on providing Financial Management & Audit Readiness and Remediation Services primarily to the Governmental and Not-for-Profit Industries. Joseph L. Peterson is the Founder and CEO of the Firm. Joe is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM). Joe has 26 years of experience providing Advisory and Assurance Services to numerous Federal government civilian and defense agencies, state and local government agencies, and large not-for-profit organizations. Twenty years of this experience was solely focused on the delivery of assurance services (financial, performance, and compliance audits) of Federal agencies on behalf of numerous Federal OIGs and the GAO. Performed independent audit services, on behalf of Federal OIGs, while working with the OCFOs providing "real-time" feedback on Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to provide immediate feedback and guidance on CAP action items providing continual feedback to the OCFO to assist in ensuring the CAP efforts were addressing the underlying cause of the control or reporting deficiency. For the last five years, Joe has focused on delivering Advisory Services to numerous Federal agencies, primarily to Federal OCFOs, Internal Control Program Offices, and Program Review and oversight offices.
