Petoskey Pretzel Co. first opened its doors in June 2017 to widespread enthusiasm and community acclaim. As a retired high school mathematics teacher and graduate degree-holding educator, founder Lisa Kaniewski has as much of a passion for quality-made pretzels as local education. Sporting an "Algebra Problem of the Day" on the shop's chalkboard, the Petoskey Pretzel Co. hopes not only to serve the finest freshly-made and soft-baked pretzels in the Petoskey area, but also to give back to the community by promoting education and encouraging learning in a fun, pretzel-rich environment.
