Petroleum Learning Programs

Petroleum Learning Programs (PLP) has been assisting the oil and gas industry since 1973 by providing a training resource developed specifically for field and plant operators. Offering training manuals and on-site classroom training, PLP provides the basic knowledge required to understand plant processes and equipment functionality. This understanding of the principles and operating procedures of field and plant equipment will assist in developing skills to the point that operators can excel in their performance and in turn, improve safety, reduce equipment downtime and increase operating efficiencies. These manuals were designed to be self taught by the operator or used in an on-site training environment for which Instructor Kits are available. PLP also offers experienced instructors to lead local training classes utilizing a specific facility's process design.
