Founded in 1998 by Australian, Ian Burden, PGT-Reclaimed was the inventor of premium indoor lifestyle furniture made from 100% reclaimed wood, and other recycled materials. Today, our furniture, made in Vietnam under good manufacturing practices, is sold via reputable retailers in more than 20 countries. Our vast wooden furniture collections cover bedding, dining, living, office and accessories to offer consumers a complete reclaimed lifestyle. SUSTAINABILITY: Our furniture is made from 100% solid reclaimed wood, mainly from packing pallets to create furniture that lasts for generations. To us, sustainability is responsibility; it takes 30 years for a tree to grow, but only a minute to cut one down. At last count our processes of using reclaimed wood have saved around trees from being cut down. INNOVATION: In PGT-Reclaimed’s early years, our founder spent four years developing a unique technique to treat discarded timber to prevent warping and splitting. His innovation hasn’t stopped!
