Pharmacy Sales Caribbean Ltd. was started in 1972 by two Barbadians, who had a desire to fill the need for the reliable provision of quality pharmaceuticals to Barbadians. Operation began with four staff members in a small rented building in Lower Whitepark Road. At that time five (5) suppliers were represented, one of which remains to this day. The current largest supplier was added to the portfolio in 1974. In 1980 Pharmacy Sales Caribbean Ltd began participating in the OECS Tender competitions and developing its export market. Further lines were added during the 1980’s, including a large supplier for rodent control products in 1984. The growth of the company necessitated the creation of the sales and marketing department which was started with two (2) employees to intensify growth of our market share. In 1983, PSC relocated to a new building on Upper Whitepark Road, where it was able to further develop its potential, increasing storage capability and better employee conditions. In the 1990’s, PSC Ltd transitioned to a partnership, becoming Pharmacy Sales Caribbean as it remains today. During the early Pharmacy Sales Caribbean became established in the fast growing Warrens industrial sector and relocated to its current location of some 7200 square feet in June 2003. At this time, some thirty (30) staff members are employed, servicing thirty-one (31) product lines, and over two thousand customers. In 2018 PSC changed its name to Pharmacy Sales Caribbean Incorporated. PSCI will continue to create history as we continuously strive to serve our customers better in the dynamic market of healthy nutrition and medical care.
