Pharmakon Konferencecenter

Pharmakon is a modern conference and training centre. All efforts are focused on creating the best possible environment for teaching and to ensure efficiency from arrival to departure. With 136 bedrooms, 1 conference hall, 9 function rooms and 17 break-out rooms Pharmakon is one of the largest and most modern conference centres in Denmark. Pharmakon was established with the purpose of forming optimum frames for education. The premises are used for educational activities organised by Pharmakon itself, and for meetings, courses and conferences held by external organisers. At Pharmakon Conferencecenter we have the "green key". The Green Key® is a worldwide available eco-label awarded to leisure orgnaisations, as hotels, youth hostels, conference- and holiday centres, campsites, holidayhouses and leisure facilities. To obtain The Green Key the company has to fulfil a list of environmental requirements. These requirements are contained in a number of criteria. Besides environmental demands ( by example to control the production of waste and the use of water, electricity, etc.), the criteria include demands on policy, action plans, education and communication. Obtaining The Green Key shows the sense of responsibility a organisation has for its surroundings and society.
