The estate boasts 100 acres of ancient woodland to explore along with spectacular crags, a fantastic Victorian Waterfall Wood walk, a lovely little tarn, a private foreshore for boating or fishing, and a picnic area with fantastic views of the lake and fells. A multitude of the finest Lakeland walks lie on our doorstep Helvellyn, St. Sunday Crag, Dollywagon Pike and Place Fell to name but a few, and as our PHOTO GALLERY below shows, the area offers the most dramatic Lake District scenery imaginable. The villages of Glenridding and Patterdale are only a ten minute walk away and in each you will find local shops, pubs and restaurants providing plenty of options to eat and shop.
