Phenomenon Science Education

We provide K-12 science education resources, services, and consulting. Our current efforts focus on 1) conducting workshops related to standards and phenomena and high school Earth Sciences, 2) collecting and curating individual phenomena for a forthcoming Phenomenon Repository, and 3) developing Phenomenon Quests. Quests are intensive experiences that allow participants to explore fundamental science concepts through the lens of three-dimensional standards. People explore and make sense of interesting science problems and phenomena using practices and concepts employed by actual research scientists. We currently emphasize resources aligned to three-dimensional content standards - but are happy to discuss customized resources.
