Philippine Law Journal
The Philippine Law Journal (PLJ) is a student-run publication of the University of the Philippines College of Law. Established in August 1914, the PLJ is the oldest English-language law review in Asia. The Editorial Board is composed of students of the College who are selected on the basis of academic qualifications and a rigorous competitive examination administered by the PLJ examination committee. The Journal publishes four regular Issues per year. The Editorial Board for PLJ Volume 98 is composed of the following students: Jan Aurel Nikolai M. Castro Chair Iñaqui Angelo Mangahas Vice Chair Eleni Tammi T. Tanriosa Josemaria J. Sebastian Joshua Cedric I. Carmen Ignacio Lorenzo D. Villareal Sophia Lorena L. Pugay Celine Mae D. Dael Andrew Daniel H. Mencias Benedict Gabriel M. Casiño Members The Journal accepts unsolicited contributions written in Microsoft Word format. Since each submission is subjected to an identity-blind deliberative process, authors are discouraged from including, in the body of their written contributions, language that would unnecessarily reveal their genders, offices or occupations, and other similar information. Contributions must be emailed to plj@up.edu.ph. Submissions must follow either the Journal's own Manual of Style and Citation (currently on its Second Edition) or the Bluebook.
