Philippine Primary Care Studies

Philippine Primary Care Studies (PPCS) is a series of ongoing pilot studies across representative settings in urban, rural, and geographically isolated disadvantaged areas, across the Philippines. Our team piloted interventions through enhancements in the areas of primary care financing, medical and financial information systems, human resources for health capacity building, public and private health care provider network formation, and community engagement. We are a multi-disciplinary team comprised of medical doctors, mathematicians, systems analysts, social scientists, and software developers. Our diverse perspectives on healthcare ensure that national health policy is inclusive in theory and in practice.
