Photos by MAP is a collection of inspirational landscape photographs shot from travels around the world. From the brilliant tropical hues of Fiji, to the coastal surf towns of eastern Australia, to the lush waterfalls of Hawaii, these vibrant prints will brighten up your wall and provide a great conversation starter. The name Photos by MAP was derived from the concept of mapping images during global travel and from the initials of it's creator. Megan Alicia Philibin (aka 'MAP') is the photographer behind the lens. Megan grew up near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but now calls Maui, Hawai'i home (when she is not busy globetrotting). As a young adult, she has lived in six cities and traveled to 12 countries across the globe. Her love of photography and travel both began as a child and have continued to develop over the years to become her primary focus. With a background in architecture and design, Megan enjoys capturing the world in unique perspectives. You can expect to see an ever expanding library of images with a focus on the elements of water, earth and air and their relation to manmade creations. There is a strong theme of nature intertwined with design, with extra attention paid to color, lighting/shadows, angles/lines, reflection, and texture.
