Phrased Differently

We are a London-based independent music publishing, production and artist development company, founded in 2006. Our headquarters in Shoreditch, East London, are also home to eight underground recording studios, which are currently occupied solely by our producer writers. Since opening doors 10 years ago, Phrased Differently has managed over 1,500 song placements. These include over 60 No. 1's, 250 Top 10 records, 50 Platinum Records and 60 Gold records around the world. In 2011, we won our first BMI Pop Award for over US radio spins with Miley Cyrus'"Can't Be Tamed” and in 2016, we won our second BMI Pop Award for over US radio spins with Calvin Harris & Disciples “How Deep Is Your Love”. Also In 2016, we were nominated for 3 Brit Awards, 2 of those in the Best UK Single category and we also won our first MTV Video Music Award. In 2017, a Phrased Differently song will represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest. At Phrased Differently, our focus is our love of songs in all shapes and forms - choruses that we can't stop singing, lyrics that makes us go 'wow' and productions that truly push musical boundaries. We have 20 writers / producers / artists signed to the company. We write songs, we collaborate, we accept song submissions and we are continually on the search for the next big hit and believe it can come from anywhere. All of our staff are musical in some shape or form and we are fans of new, amazing & exciting music.
