I’m Dr. Amy Konvalin, PhD, PT — founder of Physical Therapy for everyBODY and creator of the Konvalin Method, a holistic approach to pain relief that gets results where traditional PT often falls short. After graduating PT school with a 4.0, I thought I was ready to heal the world. But in practice, I quickly realized that textbook knowledge wasn’t enough — my patients weren’t consistently getting better, and I didn’t know why. That frustration fueled a journey of deeper learning. I pursued advanced education, eventually earning a PhD in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy so I could truly understand the human body and how everything is connected. Along the way, I developed a method that empowers patients to move pain-free — often after they've tried everything else. Today, I help people who’ve been told their pain is “normal,” or that they just need to live with it. I treat the person, not the protocol — and I do it outside of the insurance model, because healing shouldn't be dictated by billing codes.
