T.Y. Pratap joined the Indian Army as a physiotherapist in 1996. During his 22 years of service, Pratap served at the various Army Hospitals including Army Research & Referral Hospitals, Zonal Orthopedic Center Lucknow (Base Hospital), Military Hospital Secunderabad, etc. At all of the Army Hospitals, he was a part of the team that provides incredible treatment and support to injured military personnel staying there. After retirement from the Army, T.Y. Pratap found out that quality of physiotherapy treatment offered to the civilians was far away from the standard physiotherapy practices. He founded Phyuni with an aim to offer civilians the cutting-edge rehabilitation and treatment processes that are specifically available for the military. T.Y. Pratap has also been a physiotherapist to the Former President of India, Hon'ble Pranab Mukherjee. During his 22 years of broad expertise, T.Y. Pratap has attended hundreds of seminars, workshops, and events that helped him further to hone his skills as a physiotherapist.
