Pianolink

PianoLink is a music association that gains recognition of public and media for the initiatives breaking down the walls often surrounding art and music. We organize workshops for amateur musicians with orchestra, music courses, concerts and events with a constant pinch of innovation. Among our members are the top managers, lawyers, doctors, engineers who get a unique experience of on-stage music performance. If you have passion for music, you can join us, too! Here are the key directions of our work: 1. MiAmOr Music Festival (Milano Amateurs & Orchestra). Started in 2015, this is the first international festival dedicated to amateur and professional musicians: an event that in the first 5 editions involved more than 300 musicians (pianists, singers, orchestras) and 2600 spectators. The Silent Wi-Fi concert. It is an innovative concert for silent piano, performed in the silence of the night and broadcast to the public through high fidelity wi-fi headphones. Replicated since 2015 multiple times across Italy, in 2019 it went abroad to Louvre, Paris; Berlin; Vienna; with a cumulative audience of people! Invitation to Opera. Our ambitious 2017 project that involved 20 people detained at the Opera Prison (one of the biggest in Italy) in the performance of Carmina Burana by C. Orff, beside a majestic choir, pianists, percussionists and solo singers, on the stages of Piccolo Teatro Grassi and Castello Sforzesco in Milan. PianoLink Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2016, the first professional symphony orchestra that admits in its staff some students and amateurs of high level, composed of brilliant Italian and European musicians some of whom come from the Orchestra Filarmonica of Teatro Alla Scala. A nonprofit institution, PianoLink exists thanks to the support of members and volunteers. We also enjoy the patronage of City of Milan, Palazzina Liberty in Music, Region of Lombardia, YAMAHA Music Europe and others which believe in building bridges through art.
