Due to the rise of mass production, the demand for organic, high quality products is at an all time high- here’s where we come in: With the Piatza app, locals will be able to trade produce, services, and/or handcrafted products amongst themselves! Yes, direct trade, just like in ancient times! Before the standard currencies we have today. For example, if a farmer has a high yield of onions and a low yield of corn, they can post a listing on Piatza offering a trade. Another farmer that is looking for onions can accept the offer and message the merchant to arrange the trade in person. Example 2: A woman growing lavender in her garden can post an offer to trade for homemade jam. If someone in her proximity that is looking for lavender does not have jam to offer, they are welcome to offer another product. She can ship them the lavender through Piatza or arrange the trade in person. Example 3: A man would like to build a cottage in his backyard but does not have a team of people to help him build. He can post a listing offering to trade the help for products or to trade for his assistance with other services.
