Pickleball Therapy

Pickleball Therapy is more than just paddle sales and t-shirts; we're a movement, set out to bring awareness to the sport of pickleball and the therapeutic affects it has on the mind, body, and soul. Pickleball Therapy was founded by two players who first met on a pickleball court in Rockwall, Texas. Unbeknownst to either of them, one was battling major PTSD and the other major depression. They were both struggling internally but found peace on the court. Eventually, they learned of each other's struggles and coined their time on the court as,"Pickleball Therapy". As time past it became evident that many players were also struggling with battles of their own. For some it was a lack of mobility or maybe being overweight. Some were empty nesters or had a lack of energy. In any case, the term,"Pickleball Therapy", began to emerge among our pickleball community. and that's how it all started. Whether you're battling PTSD, depression, a physical disability, concentration difficulties, or simply a lack of energy, pickleball can help. Pickleball is more than a sport. It's community, and even better - it's therapy for the mind, body, and soul.
