Reggae label founded in Kingston, Jamaica in 1987 by Lloyd "Pickout" Dennis. From dancehall to roots and culture and dub, Pickout Records represents a broad spectrum of reggae music. For the past 29 years, has stayed true to the grassroots from whence it came, always serving its core audience first, moving swiftly to keep up with the sounds of the street. Responsible for the early success of artists like Wayne Wonder, Ninjaman, Mr.Vegas, Chaka Demus and Pliers, Pickout has amassed a catalogue spanning three decades across all formats from Vinyl, cassette, CD, to MP3. Parts of this catalogue can now be found available for streaming for the first time across all major streaming platforms.
