Pico Maccario

The wine-growing center Pico Maccario has a history of noble passions, a strong bond with the traditions of the past, a professional business environment. The two brothers Pico and Vitaliano Maccario, founders of the centre, are united in their love for wine, passion inherited along with the land from their grandfather Carlo. In the golden triangle between rivers Tanaro and Belbo, there is one of the most important Italian wine production “terroir”: the area of Barbera d’Asti and Barbera del Monferrato. Here a well balanced and harmonious landscape is to be found, marked by the geometry of the vineyards shaped like the tiles of a big mosaic.
