With 2 decades of experience and four Outstanding Cinematography Emmy Nominations, Alan also has extensive technical knowledge as he has worked with nearly every format and camera system available today. In 2009 Alan worked on the film "Winter's Bone" as the "A" camera operator and 2nd unit Director of Photography. It was shot in 24 days in the Ozark Mountains of Southern Missouri with the Red Camera. The movie was accepted into the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and won the Dramatic Grand Jury Prize in addition to The Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award. Winter's Bone was also picked up by Roadside Attractions for North American theatrical release and is now also available on DVD.
