For example, Pine Street was a key player in the $5.6 billion financial restructuring of Olympia & York Companies (USA) as they successfully emerged from bankruptcy, one of the largest such restructurings in history. Moreover, the firm was involved in the restructuring of a $250 million permanent loan on the Chicago Merchandise Mart with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
