Pink October
Pink October benefitting Geweke's Caring for Women Foundation puts on a total of 10 events throughout the year in Yuba City and Lodi (all volunteer based). All funds go to help out women facing breast cancer who are in a financial hardship. Bills are paid directly to vendors and consist of medical, utility, transportation, mortgage, rent or insurance bills. Pink October started in 1997 and the foundation was begun in 2006.
