The background to its conception was mainly due to the fact that there are approximately reported cable strikes per year, a large percentage of these are due to road pins being driven into live services when operatives are setting out lines and levels for kerb laying and other applications. Many main contractors are now banning the use of ‘Road Pins.'Pinsafe' has been developed to eliminate service strike incidents currently caused by the use of road pins.
