With over 40 years of general plumbing experience and over 20 years of Trenchless technology experience, I started into (CIPP) lateral lining in the mid 90's using the Perma-Liner system. I started on the West Coast going to Municipalities and trade shows to educate the public and engineers of the pipe lining technology. Shortly afterwards, I began doing jobs for Government, State, Municipalities and the Military. With my past experience and the equipment that we had, they were not an option for the industrial plants we were working on. For that reason, I developed a new patented system called "The Pipe Coater"(formally known as the EpoxyBot) that we manufacture here in Sacramento,CA which we have been using for a couple of years.This system can clean and coat the interior and exterior of steel, cast iron, asbestos, plastic pipes and even air ducts, and all types of pipes. The Pipe Coater can coat sewer, water, gas lines, tanks, grease traps, hoppers,concrete vaults for the gas and oil industry, nuclear power plants, food processing plants, breweries, ships, waste water treatment plants, hospitals, restaurants or residential, just about anything that needs to be coated underground or above ground for corrosion prevention. By using 100% polyurea that is specifically made for The Pipe Coater System it will set in 10 seconds, not hours like epoxy's. It is NSF-61 approved for potable drinking water, it has a high chemical resistance and abrasive resistance and has a high temperature and pressure rating. It can be applied from 50 mils to 300 mils thickness, all in one pass on cracks, joints or the entire pipe and additional coatings can be added within minutes if needed, to make it more structural. It will go around 90 degree bends and offsets from 2"- 24" pipe and up to 300' feet. You can watch our current short video at pipetechusa.com.
