PIPs Rewards LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the non-profit PIPs Education Fund (PEF), operates an innovative mobile platform, the PIPs RewardsTM App. Fundamentally an action motivation and tracking platform, the App utilizes time-tested behavioral strategies – a rewards currency (Positive Impact PointsTM or PIPs) and games – to continuously drive verifiable engagement in positive impact actions, including those that help advance progress toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Backed by institutional subscribers, partners and donor/sponsors, the PIPs currency can be used to unlock highly valued rewards, which for students includes scholarship grants. Research has shown that PIPs’ flexible platform, which can go virtually anywhere students go, is also able to maintain student engagement, motivate behavior change, and foster in students a sense of agency and responsibility to the world around them.
