Pivot To Recovery

Pivot is a comprehensive in depth look at recovery through motivation, inspiration, momentum, knowledge, and spirituality. This process takes a look at different modalities which include but not limited to 12 Step, SMART, Rational Recovery, Refuge Recovery and Out Loud Recovery as well as a basic understanding of how the recovery process works. PIVOT allows clients to choose and decided what path to recovery they want to explore giving them the freedom of choice.This process involves a simplified way to help understand each client’s needs through motivation, team building, and a simplified understanding of the 12-step process. Each week builds on the following week through lectures, discussions, and team building exercises. This lesson plan references many authors such as Noah Levine, Dan Griffin, Terry Gorski, Morton Jellinek, Charles Handy, Grahame Knox, Wayne Dyer, and Anthony Robbins. This is meant to be a fun and exciting process that introduces new ideas to clients. The word PIVOT meaning to turn or oscillate. In this case meaning to turn ones life around.
