Pizer Law PLLC is a Northern Virginia law firm dedicated to advocating for students with disabilities. The firm was founded by Wendy Pizer in 2021. As a graduate of Yale University and the University of Virginia School of Law, Wendy is committed to providing excellent legal representation to families with disabled children. Her early legal career included litigation roles in government and major law firms, experiences that shaped her strategic approach to advocacy. At Pizer Law, Wendy focuses her practice on supporting families navigating the complexities of special education and disability-related issues in Virginia’s public schools. She is well-versed in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Section 504 Plans, ADA accommodations, school discipline, bullying and harassment, restraint and seclusion, and individual health care plans. Her commitment to disability rights began with volunteer work in high school and has continued throughout her life. At Pizer Law, Wendy combines her legal acumen with a deep sense of compassion, working tirelessly with the goal of ensuring every child receives the support and services they deserve. She remains active in the community, volunteering with organizations that serve children with disabilities and historically-underserved populations.
