HOME FOR THOSE ON CODE The virtual Black community is at the mercy of platforms controlled by people who don't understand us. Our voices, our content, and our creators can be suppressed at the snap of a finger because many Black issues are seen as controversial or political. Moderation systems don't protect us and algorithms don't understand us. It's because the people running these platforms simply don't "get" us. Plaitx is about building community, supporting each other, connecting with friends and family, groups, and recycling Black dollars back into our communities. It's a mobile marketplace and home for the backbone of the Black community. It's an uncensored, independent Black space, created by us, for us. On Plaitx you can: • Buy or sell anything- Sell your items quick! • Find great deals and discounts on clothes, shoes, furniture, vintage fashion, cell phones, electronics, baby & kids items, sports equipment, used cars, home goods and more. • Use profile features to see who you’re dealing with and build trust. • Join a group • Shop local items for sale. • Message buyers and sellers securely from within the app. The community at the heart of our marketplace is what makes everything possible.
