Plakortis is a Caribbean Not-for-Profit Capacity Building Organisation with the following goals and objectives: Goal: • Strengthen individual capacity, and professional expertise among young and mid-level professionals in the field of science and technology, through a skilled membership network that will improve the number of qualified men and women in the Caribbean. Vision: • A Caribbean sustaining a pool of independent, vibrant, and technologically skilled experts in the field of natural and social sciences; supporting and enhancing economic growth, stability, sustainable development and job creation in the sciences. Mission: • Provide an enabling environment for individual and professional growth, supporting the development of ideas, social implementation of projects and programmes which are sustainable and targeted.
