Sonja Dahler is the owner and senior town planner at Planpro, She is a town planning specialist in Material Change of Use, Reconfiguration of a Lot, development permit for Building Works assessable under a Planning Scheme, changes to development approvals, and extension to the currency period of a development permit. She has over 15 years experience as a town planner with time spent in both the public and private sector. She has extensive experience in preparing and lodging development applications within private town planning practice. During her time at the Gold Coast City Council she assessed a range of development applications with a rigorous emphasis on timeframe delivery and a dedicated commitment to performance based planning outcomes. Sonja's experience has provided her with expertise in giving pre-purchase advice and preliminary site investigation information to site owners and prospective buyers. Council pre-lodgement meetings form part of her knowledge base as well as preparing and lodging a written objection to a proposed development on behalf of a resident or organisation. She can also provide professional advice in response to Show Cause or Enforcement Notices issued by local councils.
